I highly recommend it for anyone who is going through grief because of losing a loved one. The authors of this book seem very level-headed and not stuck on the idea of medicating and “moving on” so quickly. This is the world were in and the peace we must ruelo with such a little word. Or my favourite you need to find closure.

On Grief and Grieving: Dr Kubler-Ross is a hero of mine. I decided to read this for many reasons. She looked at the wooden walls, etched with last messages and images of butterflies duell life after death.

Furthermore, this book lets the reader know that there are many experiences other than death that deserve to be mourned over. I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone grappling with a loss, or just anyone who is trying to help a loved one deal with a loss.

En die stukken kun je ook gemakkelijk overslaan als het je niet interesseert. At times I believe the authors focus too much on the loss of a spouse, but perhaps that is understandable.

This book served to be my guide to surviving my mother’s death without feeling alone, misunderstood, dolo, or -worse- hopeless. Characters are nonexistent, as the book is more of a reference; reaching an academic publication.


First those who grieve well, live well. Recommended to Candice by: The absolute best information regarding grief. The authors expand on the inner and outer worlds of grief, specific circumstances, and the common misconceptions of grief itself.

And I include a caution, too–the authors include as a fundamental premise for all they write that there’s an afterlife kuhler a god. I recommend this book highly. Of all the books I devoured after my husband passed away, this one was most helpful to me. But that life does go on and over time it gets easier to handle the grief and loss.

It was mainly centered around grief for death, although most of the contents could be applied to other losses as well. What I found was a poorly written, Eliaabeth piece, with entire chapters on angels and the afterlife that don’t even make reference to t I couldn’t be more disappointed in this book.

I bought it for background reading during research I needed to do to write a history of the hospice in my hometown in New Zealand, New Plymouth. And yet I feel compelled to keep reading even through the tears. Based on my personal opinion of this sl book, I would give it a rating of five stars.
